Who Are We?
Polihim-SS Ltd was established in 1994, Bulgaria, starting its development in the chemical industry. The company has 20 years of experience in the manufacture and trade of low-freezing liquids and hydrocarbon lubricants. It is well established on the Bulgarian market and currently expanding abroad.
The company’s manufacturing facilities are located in Lukovit, the plant covering 30,000 m². The site provides qualified staff and transport. In the year 2007, Polihim-SS Ltd received a Hazardous Waste Environmental permit, licensing the collection, transport, storage and treatment of waste oils. The permit was consequently updated in 2010 and 2012. In 2012 the company was issued a Bespoke Environmental Permit № 440-Н0/2012 , issued by the Executive Director of the Environment Agency. The permit gives license for the storage and treatment/recovery of waste oils. Polihim-SS Ltd has successfully recovered waste oils since 2010, fulfilling goals of Recovery Organisations and individual recovery goals, according to Bulgarian legislation.
The recovery of waste oils is made possible by a treatment plant with a capacity of over 50 tonnes per 24h, which complies with all requirements of the active Bulgarian legislation.
The production of fresh oils is certified, with quality compliance according to ISO 9001-2008. As of 2015, the company's quality management system is also certified by AQAP, licensing the trade of lubricant and hydraulic oils in NATO.

We can provide custom-made lubricants to fit your particular technical and price specifications-whether they are fully synthetic, semi, or non-synthetic. Our facilities are authorised to collect and recover waste oils , so you can just message us and we will help with your disposal.
Always about the Environment
We aim to mitigate the effects of the petrochemical industry on the environment by fully recycling waste lubricants and turning them to base stocks, where they find other applications. This is an alternative to the usual fate of waste oils, in which they end up used as fuel or released in the environment - now illegal in most European countries. This way we complete the lifecycle of our products, making them 100% recyclable. Polihim believes in a responsible approach in both business and industry, which sets environmental protection as a top priority.
